[This is something he'd been waiting for for awhile. He'd wanted it for who knows how long. Just to see you utterly crushed Ness. That was something he had always just wanted to see so bad. And now that it's in front of him? Just so delectably visible?
He can't enjoy it. Not today. ...Maybe not as much as he'd always thought he would. He'd love to take advantage of what you know, but for some reason...he can't bring himself to keep questioning Ness. He just looks so pathetic and for some reason...that's demoralizing instead of enjoyable.
He hops down from the mech and, slowly, just puts a hand on his shoulder, trying to be comforting. It's a light touch because, really, comforting...what is that? He doesn't know. But after you acting like this...and the kid he's come to view as little sister dead due his own evil actions (as far as he knows)...he's having a hard time driving his cruelty up.
So he'll just try to be comforting in whatever weird way he can. Not that he's any good at it.]
