In my frustration I was pondering out loud elements from my home world.

Yeah, I kinda figured.

Still interested in what this Miskakettle thing is.

Essentially he's a being from the 5th dimension who likes to come to ours and use his powers (more often than not) to pester and annoy Superman.

There are apparently others of his ilk, and it would not surprise me to find they had a hand in this.

Are they usually this....hostile?

Annoying, yes.

Sadistic, not to this level.

And apparently they have laws to try and prevent warping on such an existential level.

This isn't just effecting the multiverse, it's inferring on all reality as we know it!

[Pokey's pissed at them, but for different reasons then you Luthor. Pokey's more specifically focused on the fact that the soul's of people he knew are being used as energy, since interfering with reality and space-time was something Pokey kinda used to do quite a bit.]

Awesome. Well, hey. Bigger they are, harder they fall right?

[And Pokey? Well, he helped trick a being into becoming a living embodiment of evil and destruction incarnate, but he'll leave that out for now.]

...Why? I mean, aren't you a villain?

Some may have seen me as such... especially the Alien...

But in truth, I am the greatest hero that humanity ha to offer.

And you're joining a group called the Legion of Doom.

Don't you think that's kind of a bit of a stretch? I mean it's not exactly like you're surrounded by heroes with us.

The ends justify the means.

They always do.

What's important is getting back home. I have very important business to attend to.

Not a particularly interesting one. Kind of like here, but with less violence and horror and more sunshine and rainbows crap. And psychic kids. ....It's kind of like a video game really.

[Which is exactly what it is, according to someone else here. Not that that particularly bothers Pokey.]

I met him when he first got here, and we agreed to see what we could find out about the town together. He gave me the offer to join the Legion when it started up, and I accepted.
