Winter is For Snowball Fights

[Pokey may not be a Christmas person, but by God, he is most certainly a winter person.

Today if you're passing by the park, you can find the little psycho running around, building up a rather large mound of snow in front of himself. He doesn't appear to be doing much else at first, just diligently building that mound up which, considering he currently only has one hand to work with, takes some time and dedication. But he is just happy as hell to do it anyway, apparently, grinning the entire time. This is the (A) event you can feel free to catch him on.

Now comes some real fun with the (B) event. Now that his mighty little mountain has been constructed, it's time for Pokey to begin his assault. Specifically? He's tossing a snowball at anyone who walks by. It really doesn't matter who you are or what you're doing. Just moving past him and his glorious Mount Asshole is enough to earn you a snowball to the face. Have fun dealing with that crap anyway you can.]

You don't need to be a fan of Christmas to be a fan of the holiday season. Clearly you seem to be that way.

Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense.

[And he's now aware that he isn't currently hiding the stump of where his left hand had been, so he shoves that back into one of his jacket pockets.]

....So are you a fan of Christmas, or just the season too?

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[She didn't notice the stump, luckily for him, so continues on.]

I celebrate it with my family, but that's all. The season is nice admittedly, but I wish it wasn't so cold.

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
...I kinda like the cold weather, you know? I don't know why, it just seems more inviting then most other seasons.

...Well, that and snow is pretty cool.

[And he kicks at a bit of the snow on the ground, as if to emphasize his point.]

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Does it? ...Well, everyone has their preferences. [She glances at the kicked bucket, before turning back to Pokey.] So you're going to continue like this until the snow melts?

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[He just gives a small smirk.]

I don't see why not.

[And he hadn't pegged a lot of people he wanted to peg yet, either.]

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Be careful who you hit then. I've had my daughter pelt me with snowballs before, so I don't mind it, but others might not be as welcoming to the holiday season as you are.

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[He just gives a small "psh" at that.]

You don't need to worry about me. I know how to take care of myself.

I believe you. [And she honestly does.]

Hey, Pokey, I have a question.

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Really?!

[And he is just taken off-guard by that. it didn't sound like you were leading him on, and he just looks on in shock that someone's trusting him when he says that. Though, he quickly rights himself, going back to his more passive expression.]

Yeah, well, you're smart. Of course you believe me.

Yeah? What is it?

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[She giggles a little at the outburst, but quiets down not too soon after. Oh Pokey you're so adorable.]

I've been saving up money for presents and I was wondering what you might like?

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)

What?

[Sorry, just kind of...standing in shock for a moment, Kyrie.]

...Umm...well...I guess some tools'd be nice, considering...uuh...a bunch of the junk I work on. That or if you find like...any kind of book worth reading in this stupid town...

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-14 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[She makes a thoughtful hum. Books...she can't really find any books that aren't on cleaning and cooking, so that's out of the question. As for tools, she can just swipe some from her drone husband.]

What kind of tools specifically?

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-15 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
[He thinks for a moment. He wants to say power tools, but yeah...he's doubting that'll be well received.]

Mainly screwdrivers and wrenches. Pliers too. ...Something to cut metal with would be great, as well. I have some stuff, but the more the better, honestly.

[identity profile] enviousmath.livejournal.com 2010-12-15 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[Mentally noting this down. There should definitely be stuff like that in her drone husband's tool box.]

Alright then. I'll do my best to get them for you by Christmas.

[identity profile] godisachild.livejournal.com 2010-12-16 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

....Thanks.

[Despite the hesitation, that's sincere. He just doesn't really have any idea how to respond.]
