Since These Seem To Be Popular [Action]

You can run into and interact with Pokey doing a few different things around town today starting mid-afternoon.
Option One
As you go about your day today, you'll find Pokey walking down the streets of the town, carrying a set of multicolored chalk with him. Every once in awhile, usually at the end of the street, you'll see him drawing what appears to be an odd, nine-blocked hop-scotch board. Inside the first eight blocks, he even draws weird little things like flowers and the like. Oddly childish considering, if anyone knew his actual, apparent personality.
While he's starting this little endeavor on Ricardo street as usual, you can find him doing this on each street he can get to.
Option Two
Pokey has managed to make his way out of the kids section of the library (after making a mess and scattering several adventure books and comic books on the floor, or course), and has made his way to the adult men's book area. He seems to be looking for something and is getting more and more pissy that he can't appear to find it, casually throwing books about golfing and shaving and the like to the ground as he continues his search.
Option Three
Here, Pokey can be found poking around just about everywhere. He generally seems to be attempting to avoid people, though he occasionally seems to try and ruin a game of kickball a bunch of younger, droned kids are having for the pure entertainment it seems to give him to be a dick.
Otherwise, he's attempting to head into any more secluded areas of the park, actively attempting to poke around and find what could work as hiding spots, which he seems to be writing down descriptions of in a small notebook he has with him.
Option Four
[If anyone is headed to Jonathon's Tools today, there's a good chance you're going to see the store-keeper trying to calm down a whining, irate, blue-skinned twelve year old boy.]
Young man, please realize that I can't see you a circular saw. You need to-
I don't care what I need to do, jerkwad! I already told you that my dad asked me to buy that saw!
Well, if you could get your father, I could-
Isn't this supposed to be the friggin' fifties, where you people will just give kids anything if they have the money for it?
[And yeah, that conversation will pretty much go on like that...]

Date: 2010-08-06 04:11 pm (UTC)M-mieu! Mieuu! Mi mieu mieu mieu- [ M-mieu! I'm sorry! I just wanted to draw a bit- ]
[ He remembers that most people can't understand him and slumps a bit, watching the boy back. ]

Date: 2010-08-06 05:02 pm (UTC)[ Hi! I'm Mieu. Can I draw with you? ]

Date: 2010-08-06 05:05 pm (UTC)...I...sure, I guess? Just keep from getting in the hop-scotch boxes, and I..guess that's fine?

Date: 2010-08-06 05:09 pm (UTC)[ Since he's been given permission, the blue creature walks away a few steps and starts to draw what Pokey's drawing, 'cause that looks fun and he's seen kids play it but with sticks and rocks. ]

Date: 2010-08-06 05:12 pm (UTC)He'll just let the thing draw what it wants for now. If he needs to make sure his hop-scotch board code doesn't get confused with the little mouse-looking thing's, he'll just erase the other one when he gets the chance.
Still...it can communicate, and after a moment he asks]
...What are you?

Date: 2010-08-06 05:14 pm (UTC)[ I'm a Cheagle! What are you drawing? ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 05:28 pm (UTC)...Just a hop-scotch board. That's all.

Date: 2010-08-06 05:31 pm (UTC)no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 05:34 pm (UTC)...You can draw with what I have at the moment, but I mainly play alone.
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 05:36 pm (UTC)[ Playing alone isn't fun! Do you have any friends here? ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:22 pm (UTC)[He doesn't. He really doesn't, right? It's not a problem at all that he's alone. It's not like he's soul crushingly lonely or anything, right?
Right.]

Date: 2010-08-06 06:26 pm (UTC)[ It's funner with friends, though. If you're alone, then I'll be your friend. ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:31 pm (UTC)[And he accidentally snaps the piece of chalk he was using at the moment. He just glowers at the broken thing for a moment before carelessly throwing it over his shoulder and picking up a new piece of chalk to continue.]
'Sides, saying you're someone's friend is just a way to get close to them so you can use them later.
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:35 pm (UTC)[ That's not true! I don't use my friends. ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:41 pm (UTC)Well, was there ever a time where it might have been convenient for you to have sold out your friends? If there was, anyone would probably take it. That's just what people do.
[It has to be. It COULDN'T have been that he was just weak, could it? Others would do the same thing.]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:48 pm (UTC)[ He gives a small, huffy "Mieu!" at the end of it and draws his friends as stick figures. There's a lot of stick figures. ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 06:59 pm (UTC)Slowly, he draws himself to one side and a group of kids to the other before drawing a question mark above his own head. He looks at the mouse-thing to understand if it's getting what he's trying to say at all.]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 07:04 pm (UTC)[ You don't know if you can count yourself as one of their friends? ]
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 07:12 pm (UTC)He tightened his grip on his piece of chalk. Of COURSE he deserved to be their friend. He was a genius, and cool, and amazing. He deserved it more than anyone else in the world deserved to be someone's friend. Why shouldn't he be? They were the ones who should be wondering if THEY deserved to be his friend.
Even if he knew that wasn't what was true, he'd go with it anyway.]
...Naw. This is stupid. I'm bad at drawing, sorry. I don't even know what I was trying to say.
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 07:15 pm (UTC)[ He turns back to his drawing and adds in Pokey next to his other friends, because even if he doesn't know his name he'll give him a shot. ]

Date: 2010-08-06 07:18 pm (UTC)...Really. Did you know that some of the worst murderers who ever lived were fairly good artists?
You don't have to be a beautiful person deep down to put something beautiful up front.
no subject
Date: 2010-08-06 07:21 pm (UTC)[ You don't have to be beautiful, just nice. Even Asch had people he was nice too, and he was called "the Bloody" for a reason. ]
