48 - Action

[He doesn't feel guilt. At all. It's not Pokey's fault his new "sister" ended up drinking the milk last time. And besides, what happened to her wasn't so bad. It was just a hallucination. So there was no reason at all to feel bad for having let her drink it.

But he does. He can't stop it. He does. So that's why he guesses he ended up drinking it today, despite knowing just how stupid that was of him.

And then? He just felt....weird.]

[Well, someone got hormone free milk today! Feel free to find Pokey going through a variety of emotions throughout town.]

A. Overwhelming Happiness

[My god. He just feels wonderful. And Pokey really just can't contain it. It's a light and bubbly and free feeling, and he can't help but find ways to express it. In ways he'd usually find pretty stupid, but you know what? He doesn't care. For the most part, he can be found just strolling down the street, humming to himself happily which is just bizarre if you know who he is. Or you can find him chasing birds at the park, laughing happily to himself as he waves his arms, scaring them and forcing them to scatter. Or you can find him at the playground at school, despite it being closed, tearing ass around the playground. He especially seems to like the swings, standing up on the seat as he swings to and fro, laughing.]

B. Crushing Despair

[Hey is that a fat kid just nearly bawling his eyes out in public, despite his best efforts to hide it by scrunching up beside a building or trying to duck into an alleyway.

Yep. Sure is. Dear lord is he crying.]

C. Insane Rage

[Oh look it's a giant spider mech stomping down the street. And on your car. And smashing your mailbox. Hey. At least the thing isn't destroying houses.

Yet.]

D. Unremarkably Morose; locked to 502 Ricardo Street

[Hey other residents. Feel free to notice that Pokey is at the kitchen table. Just sitting there. Writing. He appears to be writing a list of names, and descriptions of people. And occasionally? He takes off a small, plastic four-leaf clover pin he has attached to the lapel of his shirt and stares at it.]

[Okay. He actually gives a very, very small smile at that. Yeah. The idea of setting people you hate on fire? That's something he can get behind and has done. And he laughs at the last bit.]

Yeah, unicorns are-are kinda lame.

[At least his utter blubbering is stopping by this point. He still looks to be in pretty miserable shape.]

[She nods a bit and offers the cookie again]

[He doesn't really seem impressed or surprised, but he's at least standing up now. He takes the cookie, but doesn't eat it. Just bounces it in his hand for a minute.]

Well, get used to just being you, here. That crap doesn't matter here.

[Okay, more laughter. Hell, a slightly bigger smile. It's still weak because he still feels awful, but hey. You're not so bad.]

One way to look at it, I guess. Don't worry.

They'll find ways to piss you off beyond that here, eventually.

[She ponders for a minute]

"It is... I'll keep that in mind. Then again a prison is still a prison so that makes sense."

Yeah, that's the easy thing to call it. Think "torture chamber" fits it better.

"Oh... I know of places like that. I wonder if that's why I spent yesterday so angry. I mean REALLY angry. Like watch the whole town burn while cackling with my hand in front of my mouth like the Sun rune makes people do angry."

[She ponders for a bit]

"Then we definitely can't get too sad cause that DEFINITELY is letting them win."

Hey, I know that kind of feeling. Don't know what a sun rune is, but that kind of feeling? Yeah, pretty familiar with it.

[There's still some whine to his voice, but he's pushing it down. He still feel like crap, but jeez. He just can't get rid of it.]

I'm not trying to be sad it's like...it's like something that snuck up on me and I just can't....get rid of it.

"When I was at home.... And that bastard Godwin had killed my family and taken my kingdom there were lots of days where I didn't try to be sad but... I'd just sit there imagining standing there with his skin slowly being blasted off his body in the most painful way possible. It wasn't something I could DO immediately, but I caused as much trouble as possible and kept that image just to keep from crying. Maybe the warden here needs that kind of thought too..."

[There is a pause]

"Oh, and uh, sunshine and unicorns or something."

[Pokey puckers his lips in announce a bit as Lym talks. Really, the last thing he needs is some girl giving him some kind of pep talk, whining about her life and what she'd do and blah blah blah. He hates crap like that. But in his current mood, he at least listens, especially with how depressed.

And just stares for a moment at her last statement. Before laughing. Okay. That was pretty funny.]
