[Well. Someone's pissy and annoyed after last night's dream. And because of that? Pokey is loud as hell as he gets up and storms off to the kitchen, somehow making a mess as he prepares a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Just fuming.]

[Phone]

Oh wow you morons put two and two together. Guess what? The town is probably brainwashing you idiots into thinking people aren't here. Whatever we were promised, we didn't get zip. I can't speak for anyone else but, uh, I'm legit. So stop running around like morons acting like anyone here is a clone or something.

[Action, Around Town]

[Pokey is busing running around like a moron, trying to search out the people he knows and see who was or wasn't replaced. So far? He isn't happy about the results, and he's busy hustling through the streets pushing over anyone in his way to see who's still here.

Picky? Slugger? Yeah, he'll also be heading for both your houses soon.]

[OOC: Pokey's been erased, so he'll seem like one of those doppelgangers yep.]

[Little known fact. There are few things in the world that make Pokey feel more scared, feel more frightened or guilty, than the cry of a Picky. He'd remember when Picky was little, just a baby, and would lie awake and cry at night like babies were oft to do. And he'd remember just how poorly his parents, with all their incredible ability at raising children, were at handling a baby. It was after the first screaming match Alyosious had with the new born, finally shutting the baby up, that Pokey decided it fell to him to make sure Picky didn't cry.

It became a reaction. Hearing Picky cry meant having to go and see what caused it, even though it was so often because of Pokey's own actions. And because of that, even Pokey, he was usually remorseless in his bullying of others, could only stand to hear Picky cry for a little, could only stand to cause him to cry for a little, before his protective instinct kicked in. Before his guilt kicked in.

And he hates it. So much. That this little...little thing can cry like his brother, can cry just so much like his brother and he hates it. Still, the sound paralyzes him for a minute, and even if it is a fake...he has to slowly move forward. To try and say something, to swallow his feelings and apologize because that sound-

And then he gets a face full of slushy snow. Oops. Look at that. Guilt all gone, washed away back to anger.]

Oh you little jerk! I'll give you something to cry about!

[Still coming closer. But practically stomping closer now.]

imjustpicky: (What is this)
From: [personal profile] imjustpicky
[This... wasn't how it ever worked. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. Because no matter how mean Pokey could ever be, he always stopped. There was always a point that he'd give up and take it back and call him a name and then it was over.

That wasn't happening.

This really wasn't his brother.

Picky is finding out that he can be angry and afraid at the same time. And he knows he couldn't possibly fight Pokey, even a not-Pokey. So he turns tail and runs down the street as fast as he can.]

[Pokey runs after, or tries to, but in the end Picky is just too quick, and no matter how much anger he might pursue the little creep with, he simply can't get to him.

So he just stands there for a moment, screaming and shouting names into the distance as Picky flees, trying not to cry himself.

His little brother is gone. He's gone and he knows it's his fault somehow, and now he has this stupid thing. This thing that was fake and saw him as fake just like Ai did and Slugger did until he-

Oh.

Oops.]
