In Which Pokey Gets To Work [Action]

[Well, that was an idiotic diversion he didn't have time for. Pokey hardly understood what possible point the Soviet event could have had aside from agitating the living hell out of him. It was a pointless excursion in suffering, and even he thought the reason people were being killed was more or less pointless. Of course, he still got off worse than all of those who even died; after all, he had to go back to school, an entirely pointless bit of drudgery for him.
Now that they were back in Mayfield, it was time for him to start getting a lay of the land. Getting as much paper as he could of any type and a few pencils, he headed outside to begin his slow, but necessary work. He'd start around his own house and street, drawing and graphing the surrounding area. Mapping the terrain was going to be necessary if he wanted to form a full plan for battle or action.]
[OOC: Throughout the day, Pokey is going to be going from house to house and street to street mapping the area. Feel free to confront him about what he's doing or how he's invading your privacy as he messes around on your lawn, in your backyard, in the trees near your house as he tries to peer into the second story to get an idea of whose their, ect. While this will mainly affect Ricardo Street, feel free to bump into him anywhere since this'll be affecting the entire town.]

And yeah, Westport. They pretend like there's so much out there, but we're all stuck here.

Date: 2010-07-10 06:42 pm (UTC)Okay, but what is Westport? So it's another town, but it definitely doesn't exist and they're just telling us it does? Is that what you're saying?

Date: 2010-07-10 06:49 pm (UTC)See, a while ago, we got this TV report about Westport, and it showed people's friends and family there. Then all of a sudden, we could walk out of Mayfield, and into Westport! But all of the people from the TV weren't there. Then the next day, the path was closed off again, and people who were stuck in Westport couldn't leave. They couldn't contact anyone in Mayfield, so everyone here thought they might be dead. But they weren't dea.d.. well, some were killed by crazy guys with axes, or poisoned by the milk and air, but some survived for a whole week, and just woke up in Mayfield when the week was up!
[DEEP BREATH. phew.]

[He harumphs a little.]
Well, if people were stupid enough to go to a town that they couldn't get to before expecting to find their families there, for god knows what reason, then they were idiots. Serves 'em right getting killed, honestly, falling for an obvious trap.

Date: 2010-07-10 07:03 pm (UTC)okay, yeah, being growled at by a giant hedgehog is pretty scarywaving his hands mockingly.]Oh no! Not the people I love!'
Oh wait. There's no one who loves me, and no one I love in return.
Not really a problem for me, little...pink...hedgehog thing.

Date: 2010-07-10 07:09 pm (UTC)Don't know. Don't care. All other people want is to hurt you or use you anyway. Ain't falling for that.

Date: 2010-07-10 07:17 pm (UTC)Well maybe you should think before you insult people as to whether or not you're prepared to deal with what they're going to do. IDIOT.

Date: 2010-07-10 07:25 pm (UTC)Your friends were stupid enough to fall into what was clearly a trap! How could they have honestly believed everyone they loved just somehow appeared, one day, in a town they'd been told not to go to and hadn't been able to go to until a path suddenly opened!
That just friggin' screams trap!

Shut up, you big fat jerk!

Date: 2010-07-10 07:32 pm (UTC)Yeah, he's running as fast as his chubby little legs can carry him. And then he feels it. Goddammit, not right now...
He feels his body seize up as he trips, dropping his maps as he falls to the concrete. He's pretty much on the ground, but it's not cowering. Rather, he's cupping his hands in front of his mouth, coughing wildly. They're loud and wet and painful sounding, and it's clear he couldn't get back up right now if he wanted to until the fit passes.]

Wouldn't want to get on the bad side of psychotic witches who can't control their temper.
