"So.
Do you like......chocolate pudding?"
The relationship Slugger and Pokey have is a long and bizarre one. The two boys initially started out hostile towards one another, leading to Pokey and Slugger being responsible for the first death each boy suffered in Mayfield. The two would remain generally hostile until October, where there interactions began to develop a slightly lighter undertone to them and the outright hostility began to fade, the two resorting to simply sniping at one another, but also helping the other out on occasion.
By this point, the two boys are certainly friends, and most likely the others best friend. They generally look out for each other the best they can, and they work as one another's confidants on several occasions.
Of course, on being asked if they're friends, the two will deny it vehemently.

"You know how the town is real mean and ruins all the holidays? Well, I figured out how to beat it.
I'm gonna have Easter... two weeks early. That way, they won't be ready for it. And they won't have time to ruin it."
Pokey first met the seven-year old girl Mindy when she was handing out fliers for a pet show she wanted to put on. Originally attempting to ignore the little girl, Pokey found it impossible due to the girl's insistence on getting people's attention and for them to come to the pet show. And, as time went on in town, Pokey found himself spending more and more time with her. It's hard to say exactly what clicked: in part, what small part Pokey retained of having been an older brother before to his own little brother Picky may have been awakened by Mindy.
Whatever it is that happened, Pokey has essentially made himself one of the girls de-facto caretakers, and views her as a little sister. He refuses to let her get hurt again in town, especially after Christmas where the town tricked him into believing Mindy had been killed due to his own misbehavior.

"Of course it does! Flowers make anything look better. "
Aisling is a slightly odd case for Pokey. Initially, Pokey only took interest in the fairy girl due to the fact that she was a fellow immortal and wanted to see what her experience was like. While he took interest in Aisling, he really only saw her as someone to occasionally talk to in the hopes of comparing experiences and was otherwise happy to ignore.
As time went on, though, he began to grow more and more interested in the girl, and the original basic interest of just wanting to see what another immortal was like gave way to a genuine interest in knowing more about Aisling. Pokey, being the little social wonder he is, has failed to really get any further in attempting to know more about the girl, though he's been attempting to be a better friend to her as time has gone on.
Oh. And she knows magic. No big deal there though.

"For every opportunity there is a consequence. That is a basic principle in business and life. Whether that consequence is good or bad is to be seen in the future."
Pokey first came into contact with Kyrie around Halloween of his first year in Mayfield. Taken off guard by the woman's apparent warm and nurturing demeanor, as well as her clear intelligence and cunning, Pokey quickly warmed up to Kyrie. In many ways, he's come to view Kyrie as a mother figure, substituting her for the rather lacking relationship he had with his biological mother. In many ways, Pokey came to idolize Kyrie, and if given the chance, will attempt to impress her in the hopes of getting praise from her.
His relationship took on a somewhat different light when, during the highway event in March when Kyrie, then working for Grady as one of the people guarding the highway, ended up killing Pokey for sneaking around. Pokey, unable to comprehend why Kyrie would do this, decided that she must have done what she did as some way of helping him, and that the fault had been entirely his. Anything, really, to ensure he could cling to his idolization.
The experience also reminded Pokey that he had gotten used to trusting people, and needed to remember to be on guard more. Of course, there's no reason for him to let Kyrie notice there actually is a part of him that distrusts her now. The situation has yet to come up again.

"Immortality is not a desirable thing. It seems that way. It's shiny. It's nice. 'I want to live forever'. That's what children think.
A million years from now, you will be the only person left on your planet. A trillion years from now, you will be floating around in space. You will be pained from a lifetime of accumulated damage that never heals. You will lose your mind. You will live the most pitiful existence that has ever been known to man. And this, though it may seem far away, will be quickly accelerated if you ever find yourself caught in a landslide or otherwise trapped by something beyond your strength to move.
If you cannot be killed, I suggest you find a way to change that before these things happen.
Consider it."
Susan is one of Pokey's teachers at the school in Mayfield and, in Pokey's opinion, a nuisance. He's irritated by Susan's impeccable ability to detect when Pokey might be doing something wrong, as well as generally being annoyed by what he considers to be condescension from her. He'd willing attempt to challenge her at anything she proposes in class (and always loses).
He doesn't particularly respect her, but he's willing to keep his mouth shut about how he really thinks about her most of the time. This is due solely to the fact that Susan is Slugger's not!mother in Mayfield, and someone Slugger apparently has a strong bond to. And Pokey would rather not challenge Slugger's patience on the matter of Susan.

Pokey is not exactly fond of Scott. At all.
During his first encounter with the man, Scott appeared to recognize Pokey for no adequately explained reason. Not only this, but Scott was clearly hostile, and appeared to also know facts about Pokey no one else should have really known aside from Pokey himself and a few other people. Pokey'd come to find out that Scott knew Pokey's past due to Pokey having been a video game character in Scott's world.
Scott seems to switch between being hostile and mistrusting of Pokey, and apologetic for not giving Pokey a chance. Pokey is merely annoyed by the man.

Pokey has only gotten to talk with Rika on occasion, but the few discussions he's managed to have with her has peaked his interest in her quite a bit.
