So. Okay.

I can't be the only one finding this hysterical, right? I mean you all do get what's going on?

It doesn't really matter which one we choose, we're getting used. It doesn't really matter if we pick Lucy or the Postman or whatever. We're just being screwed around with either way for the other to get what they want.

And you know? Even if we do pick the Postman? No guarantee we get to go home, or leave, or whatever. As far as we know what the guy summons may be something just to kill all of us. Lucy's a godawful little witch, but at least we know where we stand with her most of the time.

Really, I just think it's going to be awesome to see what happens next. So, which one of the two are you morons going to let yourself be tugged around by and side with?

No. Our loss. Even one can change the outcome of a battle.

No one of any actual skill would leave because of a simple insult. And if they did? They've already proven they're so thin-skinned that they'd be an easy target to take out. Because if they're going to leave, there's no reason to treat them as an ally anymore.

And for someone who professes to have faith in people, you sure do worry about a simple word immediately influencing them and that'd they'd act like stupid little children.

I may have faith in people, but I also understand them. Can you say the same beyond how foolish they are or how easy it is to manipulate them?

All that's needed to understand about them.

[He's starting to understand more, but like hell he's going to admit that to a complete stranger. Especially an incompetent one.]

Also...that isn't what I'm said. Because your statements contradict itself. They show you don't have faith in them, because you recognize their fickle nature. Sure love your contradictions.

[A low growl]

Look, one can have faith and still understand that people don't always make the right decisions! I'm not so stupid as to think everyone is good, but I do believe that most people will stand up for what they believe in. That is what I mean by faith! I believe that most men are good people.

However, I also know that in war, insulting one's allies serves no purpose! Morale is already low, bringing it down further serves no one. And it isn't because they're foolish, or childish, but because their minds are weary and they're far from home! They're far from everything they know and understand!

You act like this, and it makes me think you want to believe you understand people, but you don't understand them at all!

Besides, if you have nothing better to do than make snotty remarks, you're nothing more than either a child or someone who has such a large chip on his shoulder, he's forgotten how to even be human!

This isn't about you, or me, but everyone here! So quit trying to cause trouble because you're bored!

And that's where you're wrong. Most people are selfish, cowardly, and incompetent. I've seen it time and time and time again in the last four hundred years.

And honestly? You're the only one who's complained. I've actually gotten intelligent conversation about what to do next. The only exception is you. So maybe you don't understand people as much as you'd like to think.

Blah blah blah that's nice. Do you realize how many times I've had this crap jammed down my throat? I don't care. And you don't know me on a personal scale regardless. So piss off.

You're the one who basically said because it was amusing, so don't get mad at me for your own words! And four-hundred years?! What were you looking at, anyone who was a complete bastard?!

That would be the great majority of people, yes. Don't get me wrong. I'm not such a hypocrite I don't know I'm an awful person, more so then the average. But on the whole? Most are pretty bad, and only do good in order to further their goals.

That isn't true! You obviously haven't met enough people who are good and kind because it is who they are.

Very few who actually exist. And I've gone through this before with others. I'll see it when I believe it.

[That he has seen it, and does someewhat believe it in specific individuals, will go unsaid.]

We're done here.
