Okay, so two questions. Do, uh, freaky friggin' accidents happen around that family all the time?

And, uh...if one of those accidents did happen to you, does anyone know if there's anyway to....uh...I guess let's say something got...cut off? Anyway to get that back, cause I'd kind of like to be able to hold things in my right hand again!

So yeah, I've heard there are "magic users" who could heal junk like this. Are there anyone who can, and how much would it cost?

That's true. I guess what I mean is that I forgot she was a drone at all and started thinking of her as the trapped Samantha. Something like that . . .

No, that's not something I can do. Telepathy and that kind of thing is a different type of psychic power.

[Lucas suddenly pauses and thinks back. Porky hadn't been here when Westport was happening. . . . Somehow, it seems as if Porky has always been in his life.]

Jane Smith is actually a girl called Samantha Achewood. We found some evidence . . . somewhere about that. They could be fake, but she's almost snapped back to herself once or twice.

...I heard about a girl who they were worshiping as a god from a fri-from a girl I know here that I saw at the party. Or that they found evidence of that. Was that "Jane", or the littler girl? And by snapped back...you mean become self aware, or what?

Yes. People think that's Lucy, the little girl. . . . Actually, I didn't see her at the party. I'm not sure exactly. All I know is that talking about that sort of thing made her almost cry once.

...Useless. There's a lot of information, but nothing to really build on. At least not yet, from what I've been able to gather.

That's why so many people went to the party yesterday, of course. . . . But I think most everyone just ended up getting themselves hurt.

[Shoot. Now he has to make something up. Lucas thinks as quickly as he can and grabs for the first interesting thing that Billy said.]

'Mom'll clean it up. She always does.' For a moment, I. Hm.

[Actually, that was a bit of an interesting thing to say. It showed that Jane was aware of her son's activities even though the family denied it and that the drones recognized that any damage was magically restored. And it some way, perhaps it showed the hierarchy of the family -- If Lucy was on top as the demonic girl, then perhaps Billy was superior to his parents, too.

Then again, it could just be the statement of a bratty kid who made his mom do everything for him.]

[Pokey actually just thinks about that, seriously, for a moment. That...that possibly changes things.]

...Okay, so you say that Jane is actually this trapped "Samantha" person. Does anyone have any idea why or how she was trapped?

That part wasn't so clear.

It sounds like it was part of an experiment, at first, by someone named Zemekis to make it so that people could forget about their problems and live happily. Something like that. . . . If you want the notes, you should ask Mr. England. Or if you've ever seen her, the girl with the purple hair who reads all the time.

Regardless, Lucas is always sincere. He smiles, too -- Not visible under the mask, of course, but it might be heard in his words. . . . If they weren't so muffled.]
