So.

Is anyone really stupid enough to buy into this garbage about buying cereal?

Please. Please say no.

Not sure if we're a minority yet, though. Some people are catching on and debating the risks versus the rewards. Kind of depressing when you think about it like you're really deciding which limb to hack off first.

I'll find a way to keep all my body intact and reap the reward, thanks.

You can't always have everything you want. It's always one or the other.

Oh, I disagree.

With enough time and work, you can find a way to cheat systems, mister.

Most of the time, but it's always the ones that aren't worth exploiting that are the easiest to find holes in. Speaking from experience, kid?

Nothing easy is that fun to do.

And if I was?

Hate to break it to you but neither is taking unnecessary risks. That's called being careless.

[verbally waves it off.] You have your parents to reprimand you, not me. I'm just curious.

Who said I'd be taking unnecessary risks? You can reduce those too.

My parents don't care. ...Well, my dad did, as long as I could get him something.

[dryly.] Mind educating me?

Then his attention wasn't worth it. No parent should treat their son like a tool.

If you prepare enough for the risk, the danger posed by the risk becomes far smaller. With enough preparation and time to think things over, you can reduce the danger of a risk to nil.

Doesn't really matter.

And how would you prepare for this? Only thing I can see that would make sense is waiting to see what happens when someone mails their batch of boxtops in.

Probably not. You have new "parents" here, don't you?

That's pretty much what I'm planning.

My other plan is not to participate. Even I'm not cocky enough to try and play a con game run by someone who can trap me in a different dimension.

Yeah. They suck. Like all parents.

Seems a little underhanded, profiting off of someone's potential misery like that.

Smart.

I wouldn't know. Never had any of my own.

Don't care. I just need to care about me.

I know. My genius amazes me sometimes, too.

Didn't miss much.
