[At first, there's just silence over the phone, like someone knocked it over and forgot to put the receiver back up. Finally, after a few moments of this and of fake starts, Pokey finally speaks.]

So, with all the stupid age crap going on, I got a question for you people.

If you could stay one age, forever, would you? Or would you choose to keep aging?

Because, I mean, why wouldn't you want to stay the same age, right? I mean, it's pretty much immortality, and you wouldn't really miss out on anything by not getting older or anything. Really, you'd be doing better then them, right? So yeah.

Sorry, stupid question. Because it's not like anyone WOULDN'T take immortality when given the option. Because everyone would choose immortality.

Uh-huh. Why does that even matter so much? It doesn't seem like it'd be that great to be known for.

No way! Top coordinators are really famous all over the world! And they get to work for Pokemon fashion magazines and design clothing and stuff like that!

But even more than all that, it's just a lot of fun competing in contests with my Pokemon. My heart gets going so fast when the curtain goes up! There's nothing more exciting!

Because having friends there to compete against or cheer me on is a big part of how I can push myself to be the best I can be!

Then why can't you be your own strength? Relying on others to back you up just proves you can't do something on your own, and when they backstab you, and they will, you're going to fail pretty hard.

Backstab me? Why would my friends do that? And it's not like I can't do it on my own, but isn't it better to know there are people cheering for you who want to see you do your best at something?

Because that's what people do. They naturally feed off others when they get the chance. That's what friends really are. People preying off you. Waiting for you to screw up so they can take advantage.

They only want to see you do your best so they can laugh even harder when you fail.

That's not true at all! People who act like that don't deserve to be called friends to begin with! I don't know what kind of experiences you've had, but my friends would never do something so mean! They always cheer me up when I lose and encourage me to do better next time!
