[At first, there's just silence over the phone, like someone knocked it over and forgot to put the receiver back up. Finally, after a few moments of this and of fake starts, Pokey finally speaks.]

So, with all the stupid age crap going on, I got a question for you people.

If you could stay one age, forever, would you? Or would you choose to keep aging?

Because, I mean, why wouldn't you want to stay the same age, right? I mean, it's pretty much immortality, and you wouldn't really miss out on anything by not getting older or anything. Really, you'd be doing better then them, right? So yeah.

Sorry, stupid question. Because it's not like anyone WOULDN'T take immortality when given the option. Because everyone would choose immortality.

If you don't age, nothing ever changes. You never grow, you never improve yourself, you become trapped by an endless cycle, never really advancing anywhere... People are supposed to grow up, it's the natural way.

You can change and improve yourself without having to grow physically. You don't just remain entirely static.

I guess, but still... It's hard to imagine not growing up though. Everyone does it, nothing lasts forever. You just gotta use the time you got the best you can?

What'd be so great about growing up anyway? I don't see anything so great about it. So it can't be so great you know?

It'd be kinda tough doing anything forever though? I mean, after a while, everything will just seem to become the same. Nothing interesting will happen. Continuing to live on will become a boring chore as those around you who give your life meaning slowly disappear...

That's your own fault for letting other people give meaning to your life. You should be able to make meaning all on your own.

And there's an infinite amount of things you could do. I don't really see how you could get bored.

But everybody needs to have people they care about, friends and companions who are important... Otherwise it's way too lonely on your own.
